I love chia seeds and since I’m always on the go, a good breakfast isn’t always in the stars. That’s why I love making overnight oatmeal with chia seeds! Since chia seeds can absorb liquids, it’s nice to add to an oatmeal.

Chia seeds Overnight Oats

ProactivCHIA Overnight Oatmeal
Prep time: 5 minutes + soaking overnight
Yield: 4 servings

  • 2/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup pecans
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (e.g. almond, hazelnut, walnut.. etc)
  • 1/4 cup frozen or fresh blueberries (other fruit is OK too!)
  • 1 tsp ProactivCHIA
  • 1/4 tbsp lucuma powder (optional)
  • 2/3 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl except the almond milk and maple syrup. Divide the mixture evenly between four Mason jars. (Easy to take out on the go with you!) Pour the milk and maple syrup on top, close the container and shake to mix everything together. Place in the fridge overnight and in the morning, add fresh seasonal fruit!
